Desperately Seeking Seka is a documented portrait of one of the greatest icons within the adult film
industry. Seka could also claim to be the most popular porn star of all time. Since her inception in the sex industry in the late seventies her fan base have steadily grown and is as large as
any, even today.
Seka came to the forefront of the adult film business during the Golden Age of
porn, and caught the attention of the whole world through a combination of beauty and exotic
audaciousness. Her entry in the business couldn't have been timed
better, and at a time when VHS took the world under siege.
Desperately Seeking Seka is produced by Swedish production companies Grindhouse Pictures AB & Planet X AB, in association with Film i Skåne.
Released on DVD April 13th 2004.

An Exclusive Festival Screening! |
Great news to the fans out there! Desperately Seeking Seka will have an exclusive screening at the upcoming Fantasporto Film Festival in Portugal. The festival runs February 24th to March 5th. This might be the last chance to see the film, as it was intended, all 83 minutes, unrated, in its special festival version.
The director’s/producers will be at the festival.
